This timeless, trendy, and textured, cowl is a must have for your Winter Collection.

I designed it for a beautiful fellow Canadian maker I connected with on Instagram. She makes just gorgeous, handmade faux fur pom poms. I chose the gorgeous tweed yarn that has just a hint of the deep blue you see in the pom on the beanie to come shortly ;) - that sets it off wonderfully.

I have visited the province that she lives in - where I had my first experience on a snowmobile racing out into the incredible snow drifts that sparkle at midnight to seemingly impossible, deceiving heights and undulate over the vast prairie landscape in the ever-blowing wind. I remember thinking as a teenager, “this must be what it looks like on the surface of the moon”! Oh, to be that young again! Brie and these incredible sparkling snowdrifts are what has inspired this super soft white cowl.

As it is a surprise, she is unaware of, I hope she loves it as well as the complimenting matching slouchy beanie pattern featuring one of her fabulous faux fur pom pom creations. Watch for it coming soon to my Etsy Store 😉.

I am very excited to see what you are inspired to create from this pattern and the colors you choose! 😊 I think would look fabulous in black, navy, white, the amazing rust fall colors, or multicolored or a brilliant grey blue.
