This is  an Intermediate pattern - you will need to be familiar with Front and Back Post stitches, working in the round in spirals, sc2tog decreases, and a Herringbone Half Double Crochet. * you can substitute a Hdc for the Herringbone hdc if you wish. We will be working on both the outside (RS) of the hat and the inside (WS).

This hat is worked from the top down to the brim in one piece and not seamed.
